On the occasion of the centenary of the death of Giacomo Puccini, one of the greatest composers in the history of opera, Next Friday, December 27 at 19.30 the Fundación Excelentia pays tribute to him with a concert in the Chamber Room of the Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid.

The Santa Cecilia Classical Orchestra, under the baton of maestro José Luis López Antón, will perform these operatic sounds with the voices of soprano Letitia Vitelaru and tenor Eduardo Sandoval.
The programme consists of such famous pieces as Un bel dí vedremo, by Madame Butterfly; Recondita Armonia and E lucevan le stelle, by Tosca; Intermezzo act 3 and In quelle trine morbide, by Manon Lescaut; Si, mi chiamano Mimí and O soave fanciulla, of La Bohème; Prelude to Act 4 of Edgar; Ch’ella mi creda, from La fanciulla del West; and Tu, che di gel sei cinta and Nessun dorma, from Turandot, among others.
