This week has been premiered El beso de Klimt (The Kiss of Klimt), the art documentary directed by Ali Ray, which reveals the scandalous life of the author and confronts different interpretations on one of the most famous paintings in the world.

The Kiss, by Gustav Klimt, is one of the most recognized and reproduced paintings in the world. Painted in Vienna around 1908, the evocative image of an unknown couple hugging has captivated viewers with its mystery, sensuality and dazzling materials since its creation. But what is behind this captivating work and who was the artist who created it?

In this documentary, the viewer delves into the details of real gold, decorative designs, symbolism and latent eroticism; a thorough study of painting transports him to the remarkable Vienna of the late century, when a new world was fighting against the old.
