Fundación Casa de Mexico presents for the second time this year, until next Thursday, December 5, Tienda Hecho a mano México in its Christmas edition, a sample of more than one thousand pieces made by master craftsmen from different states of the Mexican Republic inviting the viewer to be part of a cultural reality and diversity that is kept alive in the country.
This encounter with Mexican folk art is an exclusive exhibition curated by the renowned Mexican design promoter, Sara Galindo, which brings together objects made with different techniques and craft branches ranging from textiles, clay and tinplate, to wax, glass and lacquer, among others. This selection of over a thousand pieces projects and recognizes the quality and beauty of craftsmen’s work by seeking to rescue traditional techniques of creation, as well as exploring design as an element of innovation.
