LesGaiCineMad is the most important LGBTIAQ+ international film festival in Spanish-speaking countries, both in terms of audience and reach, as well as in terms of number of films. The film Baby is one of three films that the French Institute will screen in the official section of the Festival at its 29th edition.
After being released from a juvenile detention centre, Wellington is left alone and adrift on the streets of São Paulo, without contact with his parents and without resources to rebuild his life. During a visit to a porn cinema, he meets Ronaldo, a mature man who teaches him new ways of surviving. Gradually, their relationship becomes a conflictual passion, oscillating between exploitation and protection, jealousy and complicity.
