Arte Facto Vocal Group is the protagonist of the concert that next Friday at 19 hours will be presented in the Chapel of the Fundación Carlos de Amberes (calle Claudio Coello, 99) entitled From Uppsala to Sefarad.
This appointment is framed in the V edition of the Renacen Festival of music, theater, dance and literature from the Renaissance to the Baroque, an interesting journey through compositions by Juan del Encina for the sacred and profane music of the Renaissance, through the musical tradition of the Sepharad, as well as some jump to contemporary music. This activity is organized by the Fundación Carlos de Amberes in collaboration with Cia Garcilasos.
The vocal group Arte Facto was founded in 2022, performing in February 2023 at the church of San Antonio de los Alemanes. Among his concerts, he is most notable for his participation in the Jornadas Siglo de Oro de Albaladejo (Ciudad Real) together with the Ensemble la Danserye, in the play El príncipe que murió de amor, or at the conference-concert of the unpublished repertoire of the San Antonio de los Alemanes Musical Archive.
The group’s repertoire is eclectic and versatile, spanning from the Renaissance to the present day, both religious and secular. It is composed of vocalists with experience in other choral groups under the musical direction of Nacho López.
