Tomorrow, Tuesday from 12 to 13.30 hours, the Elcano Royal Institute presents the round table Elections in USA: what is at stake, which will be held at the Fundación Botín (calle Castelló, 18 C). The round table can be followed at this link.

The event is presented and moderated by Charles Powell, director of the Elcano Royal Institute, and Carlota García Encina, principal investigator of the Elcano Royal Institute; Ana Palacio, former minister of foreign affairs; Sebastián Royo, senior associate researcher, Elcano Royal Instituteo (online), and Eric Sigmon, political analyst.

Tomorrow brings to a close a very close race that will be decided in a handful of states and votes. The Presidency is at stake, as well as the Congress, which will determine the future administration’s margin of manoeuvre. This is in addition to its potential impact on many countries and regions of the world, on international trade and security, and on the very perception of democracy in the world.
