The Council of Ministers approved this Tuesday the Royal Decree regulating the direct granting of fifteen subsidies, for a total value of 11,099,600 euros, by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID).
The main beneficiary is the Fundación Carolina, with 5,700,000 euros. It is followed by the State Foundation for Health, Childhood and Social Welfare, F.S.P. (FCSAI), with 1,350,000 euros, and the Confederation of Cooperation and Solidarity Funds (CONFOCOS), with 1,100,000 euros.
The list continues with the European Institute of the Mediterranean (IEMed) and the Coordinator of Non-Governmental Organizations for Development-Spain, both with 600,000 euros each; the Barcelona Institute for Global Health Foundation (ISGlobal), with 426,600; and MedCities, with 300,000.
The other beneficiaries are the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) and the Commission for Cultural, Educational and Scientific Exchange between Spain and the United States of America (Fulbright Commission), both with 250,000 euros each; the Casa América Catalunya Private Foundation, with 200,000; Spain Usa Foundation, with 175,000; The Madrid Trade Fair Institution (IFEMA), with 40,000 euros; the Institute for Studies on Conflicts and Humanitarian Action (IECAH), with 75,000 euros; the Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences of Spain, with 18,000 euros; and the Municipal Culture Foundation of the City Council of Cadiz, with 15,000 euros.
