Israel’s Embassy in Spain has rejected the celebration in Madrid of the annual congress of the Palestinian movement Basar Badil —“an organization linked to terrorist groups such as the PFLP and Samidoun”— and the demonstration that yesterday went from Legazpi to the Plaza Reina Sofia, called by this same organization, “to celebrate the brutal massacre of October 7th”, says the Embassy’s account in X.

“We are outraged and saddened that Spain has become a paradise to sow hatred and incite to the destruction of Israel”, tweets the Israeli Embassy, which adds that “it is unacceptable that a democratic society allows the glorification of terrorism and the celebration of crimes against humanity perpetrated by Hamas”.

Basar Badil, which today called a rally in front of the U.S. Embassy in Madrid, rejects the two-state solution to end the Arab-Israeli conflict and demands “the dismantling of the Zionist entity from all of Palestine, from the river to the sea”.
