Conference ’50 years later, the history of Portugal and its dialogue with Spain’

On 8 October, starting at 9.30 a.m., the Portuguese Embassy and the Fundación Ramón Areces will be organizing a conference in the Foundation’s Hall (calle Vitruvio, 5) entitled 50 years later, Portugal’s history and its dialogue with Spain. Online registration at this link.

 

An event that celebrates the trajectory of Portugal and dialogue with Spain, looking back over the last fifty years and anticipating the next decade. The conference includes, in addition to guest speakers at the opening and closing sessions, six thematic panels, wine tasting and tasting of Portuguese products, as well as a musical moment by singer Salvador Sobral, Winner of the Eurovision Song Contest in 2017.

 

Raimundo Pérez-Hernández and Torra, general director of the Ramón Areces Foundation, and João Mira-Gomes, ambassador of Portugal, will address the event. The full programme of the panels can be found on the Foundation’s website.
