Albares expresses his support for the new Ukrainian Foreign Minister

El ministro de Asuntos Exteriores, José Manuel Albares, felicitó ayer a su nuevo homólogo ucraniano, Andrí Sibiga, y aseguró que trabajarán juntos en la defensa de la libertad y soberanía, además de avanzar “en el camino europeo de Ucrania”.

En la red social X, Albares dio la enhorabuena al nuevo titular de Exteriores en Ucrania, sustituto de Dmytro Kuleba, quien presentó el miércoles su dimisión, en el marco de la mayor remodelación del Gobierno ucraniano desde que estalló la guerra por la invasión rusa de febrero de 2022.

Albares recordó ayer que había trabajado estrechamente con Kuleba en defensa de la libertad y soberanía de Ucrania y en la apertura de las negociaciones para la adhesión a la Unión Europea durante la presidencia española del segundo semestre de 2023.
