On the occasion of the Joint Cultural Programme: Portugal-Spain 50 years of culture and democracy, the Embassy of Portugal will celebrate on 6 September at 7.30 pm in the Symphony Hall of the Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid, a concert by the Lisbon Metropolitan Orchestra.
Under the direction of Pedro Neves, you can enjoy such famous pieces as Histórias de Abril by Anne Victorino d’Almeida; Graça Sinfonieta (Homage to Haydn) by Fernando Lopes; El Amor Brujo, in orchestral version by Manuel de Falla, and the Classical Symphony, of Sergei Prokofiev.
