Técnicas Reunidas yesterday informed the National Stock Market Commission that in the first half of 2024 it recorded a net profit of 42.1 million euros, a figure 9% higher than the 38.5 million euros in the same period of the previous year.
Técnicas Reunidas’ total sales during the first six months of the year reached 2,094 million euros, reflecting a decrease of 4% compared to the previous year, when they stood at 2,172 million euros.
The company noted that it has experienced a progressive recovery in its quarterly sales figures, exceeding 1,000 million euros in the second quarter with revenues worth 1,091 million euros.
As for the company’s portfolio, it amounts to 10,963 million euros to date. Técnicas Reunidas detailed that new orders since the beginning of 2024 total 1,402 million euros and include engineering projects, such as the ‘Jafurah III’ project for Saudi Aramco, as well as a major services contract in the United States for a petrochemical project.
This contract, valued at 100 million euros and focused solely on the provision of services, is pending the granting of the necessary emissions permits. Técnicas Reunidas specified that the value of the contract could increase in the future, since additional services related to the construction and supervision of the project could be awarded.
The company mentioned that this project represents the first key milestone of its “Salta” strategy, fulfilling the pillars of Services and North America.
Regarding the projections for the rest of the year, Técnicas Reunidas indicated that it expects to reach sales close to 4,500 million euros in 2024, with an Ebit margin of 4%. The company remains optimistic about its future performance and the growth opportunities that are presented in the market.
