The Diplomat The new Australian ambassador to Spain, Rosemary Morris-Castico, has presented the Copies of her Letters of Credence to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Rosemary Morris-Castico went to the headquarters of the Ministry, where she was received by the introducer of ambassadors, María Sebastián de Erice, after which she began her work in Madrid, waiting for the moment when she can deliver the Letters of Credence to the King. The ambassador replaces Sophia McIntyre, who held the position for the last four years. Until her appointment, Rosemary Morris-Castico was Deputy Secretary of the European Union Section at the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Rosemary Morris-Castico was already stationed a few years ago at the Australian Embassy in Spain, where she acted for some time as Chargé d'Affaires, just as she did at the Embassy in Mexico. Likewise, she has been assigned to the Embassy of her country in the United States and has been responsible for the Gulf Countries in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Commerce.
