The Polish ambassador to Spain, Anna Sroka, will finish her mission in our country this August, which she arrived in June 2022.

The current Polish Government announced last March its intention to change fifty ambassadors who had been appointed at the proposal of the previous Executive, from the Law and Justice party (PIS), led by Mateusz Morawiecki.
The Tusk Government said it hoped that the country’s president, Andrzej Duda, would approve the operation to change ambassadors, but so far, the Polish head of state, a former PIS militant, has not done so. In Poland, ambassadors are chosen by the Government, but are appointed by the president.
