The coordinators and national cooperation officials of the 22 countries of the Ibero-American Community addressed this week the main lines of work in this matter in view of the next XXX Ibero-American Summit, which will be held next November in Ecuador.
The third Meeting of National Coordinators and Cooperation Managers was held between July 11 and 12 in Madrid under the motto 'innovation, inclusion and sustainability', exactly the same as the Ibero-American Summit in Ecuador, as reported by the Ibero-American General Secretariat in a press release.
During the joint session, held on July 11, the National Coordinator of Ecuador, Vice Minister Jaime Augusto Barberis Martínez, highlighted the commitment of the Ibero-American countries to strengthening integration and the will to advance key issues on the agenda of the region. The person responsible for Cooperation of Ecuador, Juan Manuel Esnivele, also participated in the event.
For his part, the Ibero-American Secretary General, Andrés Allamand, detailed through an 'Activities Report' the lines of action carried out by the SEGIB from March 27, 2023 to June 30, 2024. “The community advances without stop and the community helps in that work,” he concluded.
During the meeting there were also messages from the General Secretariat of the Ibero-American Social Security Organization, the secretary general of the Conference of Ministers of Justice of the Ibero-American Countries, Enrique Gil Botero (online), and the highest representative of the Ibero-American Organization of Youth, Max Trejo, who also intervened remotely.
