The Ambassador of Argentina, Roberto Bosch, paid a visit to the Secretary General of the World Tourism Organization, Zurab Pololikashvili. The meeting was also attended by the Director of External Affairs of UN Tourism, Beka Jakeli, the Regional Director for the Americas, Gustavo Santos, and the Advisor to the Department, Romina Nardi.
During the meeting, they reviewed the potential that Argentina offers in terms of tourism and the investment opportunities that are opening up due to institutional change and the reforms underway, which have wide-ranging implications for the sector. He was also presented with the plaque recognising La Carolina (San Luis) as the Best Tourism Village.
