Yesterday the Council of Ministers learned of the authorization of the Minister of Industry and Tourism to carry out the unexpected institutional advertising campaign on the dissemination of Spain as an “entrepreneurial and innovative nation”.

The ‘Spain Up Nation’ advertising campaign will be developed through the National Innovation Company (ENISA), a public entity that offers participatory loans to Spanish SMEs with viable and innovative projects, and aims to spread the image of Spain as an entrepreneurial and innovative nation among businessmen, national investors and the general public.

It was authorized to be carried out with a time horizon until September 2023. Due to the different electoral processes, the campaign has had to be included in the Institutional Advertising and Communication Plan of the General State Administration for 2024. The campaign was presented in February of 2023 during an event closed by the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez; the then first vice president and minister of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, Nadia Calviño; and the then Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Reyes Maroto.
