The International Institute invites to celebrate the 4th of July Party

In order to celebrate the Independence Day of the United States, the International Institute (Calle Miguel Ángel, 8) is calling for an afternoon of dancing, music and friends in its garden.

Live music will be provided by The Louisiana Cats and you will learn how to Country Line Dance with the free workshops they have organised for children, young people and adults. 

And as in previous years, there will be food for sale from Gourmet Pizza & Catering. There will also be the traditional raffle for a Taste of America gift basket. The party is open to the public until full capacity is reached. Registration is required for both the party and the workshops. Admission with drink 3€. Free for children under 13 years old.

The craft workshop on decorating spaces for the party will take place on Thursday 27 June from 17:30 to 18:30. Recommended for children between 7 and 15 years old. Free activity with limited capacity. Registration here.

Open Country Line Dance class for children and young people on Thursday 4 July from 17:30 to 18:30. Sonia, Sonia and Salomé, specialised dancers, will teach the first steps in an open class of initiation to Country Line Dance for children and young people between 8 and 15 years old. Free activity with limited capacity. Registration at this link.

Also on the same Thursday from 18.30 to 19.30, open class of Country Line Dance for adults, the same teachers will teach an open class of initiation to Country Line Dance for future dancers over 16 years. It is not necessary to come with a partner. Free activity with limited capacity. Registration in advance at this link.

Concert by The Louisiana Cats for the 4th of July party at 7pm. Led by the charismatic American singer DiDi Dunn, the repertoire of this ensemble focuses on the classics of Country-Rock and Rock & Roll music, with songs by Creedence Clearwater Revival, Bob Dylan, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, The Eagles, Janis Joplin, The Band, Johnny Cash and Tom Petty. The Louisiana Cats, a group dedicated to American music that invites you to dance and sing along. Admission with drink 3€. Free for children under 13. Tickets on this link.
