After 8 years of waiting, Paul McCartney returns to Madrid
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

In 2016, during his last concert in Madrid at the Vicente Calderón Stadium, Paul McCartney promised he would return to Spain. True to his word, the iconic artist will return to Madrid on 9 and 10 December 2024 at the WiZink Center (Avenida Felipe II, s/n) with his Got Back tour, which began in the United States in 2022.

With songs like Hey Jude, Live and Let Die, Band on the Run, Let It Be or Yesterday, and many more, Paul’s concerts represent everything any music lover could wish for and expect from a great rock show. Over three hours of some of the greatest moments from the last 60 years of music history: songs from Paul’s solo era, from Wings and, of course, Beatles anthems that were, are and always will be part of the soundtrack of our lives.

Paul McCartney kicked off his Got Back tour in 2022, which included 16 major US concerts before performing what the UK newspaper The Times described as the “greatest concert of all time” with his historic set at Glastonbury in June 2022. In 2023, Paul followed up his successful tour with a further 18 concerts in Australia, Mexico and Brazil.

With Paul’s lifelong band Paul “Wix” Wickens (keyboards), Brian Ray (bass/guitar), Rusty Anderson (guitar) and Abe Laboriel Jr (drums), and constantly updated state-of-the-art audio-visual technology ensuring an unforgettable experience from every seat, a Paul McCartney concert changes the lives of everyone who attends his shows. The Got Back Tour also features the Hot City Horns: Mike Davis (trumpet), Kemji Fenton (saxophones) and Paul Burton (trombone). Hot City Horns joined Paul for the first time in 2018 to perform at Grand Central Station before embarking on the Freshen Up World Tour later that year.

Ticket sales get underway at 10am today, a buy one get one get one asap and hold your place in the sale queue to get those coveted tickets. Here is the link to the organiser LiveNation – best of luck!
