The seventh edition of the Congress of the Business Council Alliance for Ibero-America (CEAPI) concluded this past Wednesday in Cartagena de Indias (Colombia) with a call in favor of economic and social development in Ibero-America and with the announcement that the next Congress will be held in June 2025 in Seville.

The Congress, convened under the motto ‘Believe, create and grow. Ibero-America facing the challenge of growth and productivity’, brought together from June 17 to 19 in Cartagena de Indias 400 presidents of leading companies and business families from Latin America and Spain, and institutional personalities from the entire Ibero-American Community.

During the closing, the CEAPI Medal was awarded to Jaime Gilinski, president of the Gilinski Group, for his work as president of this edition of the Congress. “I am grateful for this recognition, which motivates me to continue working for Colombia and Latin America, and to continue building the legacy that my father has entrusted to me,” he declared.

For her part, Núria Vilanova, president of CEAPI, announced that the VIII Ibero-American CEAPI Congress will be held in Seville in June 2025. In this regard, Juan Manuel Moreno Bonilla, president of the Junta (regional Government) of Andalusia, assured that his Government is “looking forward to taking advantage of every opportunity to show how Andalusia is advancing, and it is for this and for those links that unite us with Ibero-America that we are pleased to announce that next year, 2025, the CEAPI congress will be held in Seville.”
