The Dutch police authorities have arrested in the Netherlands the alleged perpetrator of the shooting against Alejo Vidal Quadras in Madrid, according to the National Police.

The first three arrests occurred on November 21 in Spain: a couple in Lanjarón (Granada) and a young man in Fuengirola (Málaga). The man arrested in the Granada town was remanded in provisional prison, while the woman – of British origin – and the young man – also related to the motorcycle – were released.
Greg Oliver Higuera Marcano, a Venezuelan located on the Colombian border, allegedly involved in the purchase of the motorcycle used in the attack and whose extradition the judge has requested, was subsequently arrested. Finally, at the end of April, the Dutch Police arrested a woman in the Netherlands for her alleged participation in the financing and preparation of the attack. The woman, of Dutch nationality, was arrested under a European arrest and surrender order issued by the Spanish authorities, according to Interior sources.
