Maurizio Gelli, new concurrent ambassador of Nicaragua to the UK

Last Wednesday, June 12, the Ambassador of Nicaragua, Maurizio Carlo Gelli, presented to Victoria Busby, Director of Protocol and Deputy Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps of the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) of the United Kingdom, the copies of the Letters of Credence accrediting him as Ambassador of the Government of Reconciliation and National Unity of the Republic of Nicaragua concurrent to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, with residence in Spain.

With this accreditation, the ties of friendship and relations between Nicaragua and the United Kingdom will be strengthened, as well as the commercial, cooperation, cultural and tourist links.

After the delivery of the copies of the Letters of Credence, Ambassador Maurizio Carlo Gelli was invited to participate in the event The Trooping the Colour, a celebration held annually in London on the occasion of the anniversary of the birthday of King Charles III.
