Alexia Putellas will receive the ‘Woman, Business and Leadership’ award at the VII CEAPI Congress

The player Alexia Putellas, world champion with the Spanish soccer team, has been awarded by the Alianza por Iberoamérica Business Council (CEAPI) with the Women, Business and Leadership Award.

The award will be awarded at the VII CEAPI Congress for company leaders and business families, which will be held from Monday the 17th to the 19th, in Cartagena de Indias (Colombia), and which, with this award, distinguishes leading women in their professional fields in Latin America.

Alexia Putellas, in addition to being world champion with Spain in 2023, is the winner of the women’s ‘Champions League’ with Barcelona and for two consecutive years, 2021 and 2022, FIFA The Best Award and the Ballon d’Or and Player of the Year Award. UEFA year in 2021.
In her more social aspect, since this year, Alexia Putella has chaired her ‘Eleven Foundation’, with which she implements emotional education programs for girls and adolescents in different countries around the world such as Spain, Colombia and Mexico.

The jury of the Women, Business and Leadership awards rewards the Spaniard for her career in which she has focused on the effort to achieve the role that women’s sport deserves without leaving aside her well-deserved successes and her desire to team fight.

In addition, Alexia Putellas participates as a speaker at the Congress along with another international athlete, Tatiana Calderón, a racing driver.

Alexia Putellas joins other women awarded by CEAPI and leaders in their fields of work, such as the Mexican Cristina Pineda, founder of Pineda Covalín, the president of Grupo Entregas, the Ecuadorian María Paulina Romo, the Paraguayan Maris Llorens, president of Viradolce S.A. and the Colombian Camila Escobar, president of Juan Valdez.

Isabel Noboa, president of NOBIS and winner of the 1st Women Business and Leadership Award, will be in charge of presenting the awards ceremony and announcing the winners.

The VII Ibero-American CEAPI Congress for company leaders and business families is being held for the second time in Latin America and under the title ‘Believe, Create and Grow Ibero-America in the face of the challenge of growth and productivity’ will bring together more than 400 businessmen, institutions and representatives of the social sphere, which will debate the current moment, in which Ibero-America has a leading role and works to expand its influence in the world.
