As part of the Casa Asia Meetings with Asian Writers series, Chen Chuncheng and Teresa Tejada, one of the two translators of the book from Chinese into Spanish, will talk, among other things, about imagination as a weapon against decadence, the suicidal beauty of artistic creation and the intricacies of fantasy and reality through the journey that the author takes the reader on throughout the work: an imaginary submarine, manned by a child, in search of adventures at the bottom of the sea; a garden hidden inside a park where a young girl recalls the happiest day of her childhood…
