The Embassy of the Dominican Republic is offering numerous activities during the Madrid Book Fair, including the following:
Today, Tuesday 4 June, the following events will take place in the Library Hall of the Fundación Ortega Marañón (Calle Fortuny, 53): presentation of the book Hojas sueltas, by Manuel Brida Busto and Dr. Fidel Munnigh Eusebio, at 18:00; conference La mujer en la Independencia Dominicana estatuto jurídico en el marco internacional, by Jeannette Alfau (in the photo) at 19:00; and the presentation of the Guía para la cobertura mediática de casos de violencia de género, by Ramieri Delgadillo, at 20:00.
Next Thursday, June 13th at 7pm in the Miguel de Cervantes Hall of Casa América, the book Voces de la Diáspora III, by Ada Wiscovitch, will be presented.
Finally, on Friday 14th June, the presentations of the books Quo vadis? Tras las huellas de la historia, by Miguel Reyes, at 12.30 p.m., as well as Los legados del abuelo Johnny, by Ileana Montero de Atallah, at 1.15 p.m., and the book ¿Dónde está Eleonora?, by Saymi Lahoz, at 2 p.m., will be held at the Eugenio Trías Library in the Parque del Retiro assembly hall (Calle Paseo Fernán Núñez, 24).
