Former Saudi ambassador awarded the Grand Cross of Civil Merit

The Government has awarded the Grand Cross of the Order of Civil Merit to Azzam Abdulkarim Algain, the former ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Spain until the beginning of this year.

 

Azzam Abdulkarim Algain stayed in our country for about three years, as he presented his Letters of Credence to the King in February 2021.

 

The ambassador handed over his post to Princess Haifa Al Mogrin, who becomes the first woman to head the Saudi Arabian Embassy in Madrid. Haifa Al Mogrin submitted the Copies of  her Letters of Credence to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in early March and is awaiting the delivery of her Credentials to the King.
