More than 400 presidents of leading companies and business families from Latin America and Spain, and institutional personalities from across the Ibero-American Community will participate in the VII Congress of the Business Council Alliance for Ibero-America (CEAPI), which will be held from June 17 to 19 in Cartagena de Indias (Colombia).
The Congress will be chaired by one of the most important businessmen in Colombia, Jaime Gilinski, president of the Gilinski Group, and will be attended by large Colombian businessmen, including Luis Carlos Sarmiento, president of OLCSAL, who, together with Gilinski, was awarded with the V. Iglesias Award for the Development of the Ibero-American Business Space, which they received from the King.

During the two days of the Congress, more than 400 participants will analyze the major topics on which the new global geostrategic situation is turning, such as growth and productivity, energy transition, education and employment, nearshoring, food security, tourism, cybersecurity and AI, the East-West relationship and the issues that will shape the global economic future.
The Congress will also focus on businesswomen and young people. In this way we celebrate the ‘Women, Business and Leadership in Ibero-America’ and ‘Next Generation’ conferences, which will bring together important businesswomen from the region and new generations of businessmen to discuss aspects such as family business, entrepreneurship, equality, social impact or responsible leadership. In addition, one more edition the Women, Business and Leadership Award will be held, which recognizes women who work not only to promote the development of their countries, but also to break the gender gap and encourage the empowerment of women in the field. business and work.
