On the 5th of June at 7pm, Café Berlín in Madrid (Costanilla de los Ángeles, 20) presents La Argenta Orquesta Típica de Tango with completely original musical arrangements by maestro Fernando Herrera, mainly designed for the enjoyment of dancing in the milonga.

The formation will be made up of more than ten of the best musicians of the Argentine Tango scene in Europe.

The grand debut of the orchestra will take place with a Milonga (social event gathering tango dancers). However, it is also possible to participate just to enjoy the concert. During the milonga, besides the live music, there will be the music of the Tdj: Loic Vix.

La Argenta has a unique line-up: Fernando Herrera on piano, direction, arrangements and vocals; accompanied by the sweet and beautiful voice of singer Jimena González (in the photo), known in the diplomatic world for her performances at the national celebrations of the Argentine Embassy; double basses Miguel Rodrigáñez and José Luis Ferreyra; bandoneon players Iván Monterom Roberto Vassallo and Damián DAlessandro; Daniel Hurtado and Pablo Hopenhayn on violin, and Silvina Álvarez on viola.

In this first meeting there will be the presence of guest musicians and dancers, who will join the orchestra at different times, and three couples of dancers will perform their dance exhibition. Tickets can be purchased at this link.
