The president of Vox, Santiago Abascal, traveled to Jerusalem yesterday to meet with the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, and praise Israel’s “firmness” in the face of Hamas aggression.

 

In a meeting, which lasted for more than an hour in the Prime Minister’s Office, Abascal conveyed to Netanyahu his party’s support for the people of Israel, which it recognizes “the right to defend itself” and pointed out that Pedro Sánchez does not represent Spain, according to information provided by Vox.

 

Abascal’s party added that his leader commented to Netanyahu that Sánchez is “covering his cases of political and economic corruption with the recognition of the Palestinian State” and with the “attacks” on the president of Argentina, Javier Milei.

 

On his social network account X, Abascal wrote that he told the Israeli prime minister that “the investigation into Begoña Gómez’s corruption is the true cause of Sánchez’s decision to recognize the Palestinian state,” a decision that he denounced and that was He promised to “revoke” if he becomes President of the Government.

 

The Vox leader assured that “as long as there is only one hostage in the hands of Hamas” and “until the terrorist organization disappears,” no government and “no one has the right to ask Israel to renounce its self-defense operations.”

 

From Vox they also pointed out that the Israeli prime minister described as “exemplary” the defense of the State of Israel by Abascal, who has already visited Israel twice during the war in the Gaza Strip, and lamented the “immense intoxication.” that dominates media coverage of the conflict in Western countries.”

 

Furthermore, according to the information provided by Vox, in the meeting held with Netanyahu, the Israeli Prime Minister promised to respect the unity of Spain and collaborate in the fight against terrorism.
