From 5 June to 3 July, the third edition of the Japanese Film Festival Online will be held, dedicated exclusively to Japanese cinema and which, thanks to its online format, will allow you to enjoy a wide selection of the best Japanese cinema from the comfort of your own home, completely free of charge.
In its 2024 edition, this festival brings twenty films of all genres and for all tastes with which to explore the fascinating world of Japanese cinema. And it presents a great novelty: for the first time, Japanese series can be enjoyed as part of the JFFO programme, with two series of which full seasons can be seen in Spain.
From comedy to drama, from documentaries to horror films, including, of course, a representation of the best Japanese animation, the Festival takes the spectator to Japan, to its landscapes, to its gastronomy and its language. A unique opportunity to see a selection of great series and films, many of them also unreleased in Spain, with the best sound and image quality, and in the original version in Japanese with Spanish subtitles.
Streaming period divided into two phases:
Phase 1: 20 films accessible from Spain from 5 June at 5:00h CEST to 19 June at 4:59h CEST.
Phase 2: 2 series (a total of 20 episodes) from 19 June at 5:00h CEST to 3 July at 5:00h CEST.
