This afternoon at 6 p.m., the book collection Documentos inéditos de las mujeres de la Casa de Austria (Unpublished documents of the women of the House of Austria) -Ediciones Universidad de Salamanca- will be presented in the Auditorium of the Fundación Carlos de Amberes (Calle Claudio Coello 99). Free attendance until full capacity is reached.
This interesting collection is made up of five works that publish different documents (letters, inventories, books of supplications, etc.) of some of the most important women of the dynasty and their entourage, such as Margaret of Austria, Isabella of Portugal or Margaret of Parma; but also of some outstanding figures of that time, such as Ferdinand the Catholic, Philip II or Charles V, among others.
Júlia Benavent, director of the collection (Universitat de Valencia), Bernardo García, professor of Modern History (Universidad Complutense de Madrid-ITEM) and Jacobo Sanz Hermida, director of Ediciones Universidad de Salamanca, will take part in the event.
