The Cineteca in Madrid premieres the Argentine film ‘Último recurso’
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

The Embassy of Argentina recommends the film Último recurso (Last Resort), which will be screened at the Cineteca de Madrid (Plaza de Legazpi, 8) until next Thursday.

Directed by Matías Szulanski and scripted by Maximiliano Rodríguez, the film stars María Villar and Tamara Leschner.

The film tells the story of how the arrival of a package to the editorial office of an old sports magazine triggers an investigation that would indicate that the first World Cup, played in 1926 and won by Argentina, for some reason was erased from official history. Laura and Julia throw themselves into the enigma to decipher what really happened and, with a bit of ridicule and fun, brighten up their monotonous lives. Tickets can be purchased at this link.
