Tomorrow Tuesday at 7.30 p.m., the Argentine historian, populariser, professor and writer Felipe Pigna presents the show Mitos de la historia argentina (Myths of Argentine history) at Café Berlín (Costanilla de los Ángeles, 20).
Felipe Pigna proposes a journey through crucial moments and figures in Argentine history. Figures that drove cultural, political, economic and social changes prior to the 20th century, focusing on the power relations that have been woven over the years, as if he were pulling the threads of a historical tangle that reaches up to the present.
2024 marks the twentieth anniversary of his best-selling book: Los mitos de la historia argentina (The Myths of Argentine History). After touring his country several times, appearing in different theatres, Argentina’s most popular historian and populariser arrives for the first time in Madrid to share a one-on-one meeting with his audience.
