Last Tuesday, the Council of Ministers referred to the Cortes Generales (Spanish Parliament) the Agreement on Air Transport between Spain and Angola, while authorizing the expression of Spain’s consent to be bound by the aforementioned Agreement.
The agreement was authorized by the Council of Ministers on February 8, 2013 and signed in Luanda on April 8, 2021 by the then Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and for Latin America and the Caribbean, Cristina Gallach, and by the Angolan Minister of Transport, Ricardo Daniel Sandão Queirós Viegas de Abreu.
The text includes the usual formula of this type of bilateral agreements on air services, in accordance with the administrative clauses of the International Civil Aviation Organization, and includes in its articles the standard principles and clauses established and required by the European Union for the agreements. of air transport services between Member States and third countries.
