The Official State Gazette (BOE) has published the granting of the decorations to Kings William and Maxima of the Netherlands, as well as to Princess Amalia, heir to the Throne of the Netherlands, on the eve of their visit to that country the King and the Queen of Spain.
On March 27, the BOE published the granting by the King Felipe VI of the Collar of the Order of Charles III to William of the Netherlands and the Grand Cross of the same order to his wife, Queen Máxima.
And last Wednesday, the BOE reported on the granting of the Grand Cross of the Order of Isabella the Catholic to the 20-year-old Crown Princess Catharina-Amalia of the Netherlands. This will be the first granted by a foreign representative.
Don Felipe and Doña Letizia plan to make a state visit to the Netherlands on the 17th and 18th.
On the occasion of that visit, Christoffel Breedveld, Grand Master of the Royal Household, has also been decorated with the Grand Cross of the Order of Isabella the Catholic; Maria Louisa Alexandra van Zuylen van Nijeveltden Beer Poortugael, Lady of Honor of the Royal Household; and Ludgerus Hubertus Ignatius Brummelaar, Adjutant General to Her Majesty.
