Tomorrow Wednesday from 9 am, the Spanish Investment Panorama in Ibero-America 2024, organised by this diplomatic cultural house and IE University, with the support of Iberia and Auxadi, will be presented in the Gabriela Mistral Amphitheatre of Casa América. Admission with prior registration at this link.
Since 2008, this report analyses investment trends and expectations in Ibero-America by Spanish companies and offers an annual snapshot that reflects the challenges, opportunities and trends that Spanish firms perceive about the economy and their businesses in Ibero-America.
This sixteenth edition updates the data and analysis, following years in which several global crises (pandemics, inflation, armed conflict) have been linked, in a geopolitical environment that tends towards market fragmentation and changes in supply chains. The aim of the presentation is to discuss economic and trade relations in the Ibero-American space, and on this occasion the focus will be on Argentina with a round table to delve into the investment possibilities that the country offers Spanish companies.
The report will be presented by Juan Carlos Martínez Lázaro, professor at IE University and director of the report, followed by a round table discussion entitled Investment Opportunities in Argentina 2024, with the participation of Roberto Bosch, Ambassador of the Republic of Argentina in Spain; Ana Valero, Director of Wholesale Business and Public Affairs at Telefónica Hispam; Juan Cerruti, Chief Economist (Economic Research Group Vice President) at Banco Santander, and Antonio Rubio, Secretary General of Prosegur. The moderator will be Julieta Nassau, journalist of the Argentinean newspaper La Nación.
