The Fundación Consejo España China is organising a round table discussion tomorrow Tuesday at 9.30 a.m. at the headquarters of the international firm Garrigues (Calle Hermosilla, 3, Madrid), entitled Investing safely in China. The event is open to the public, with prior registration via this link.
This Foundation is an entity linked to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, dedicated to promoting bilateral relations between Spain and China. The round table will analyse the current framework for foreign investment in China and, in general, the outlook facing Spanish companies operating in the country.
It will begin by exploring the current context of China and its attractiveness as an investment destination. It will then address the legal framework for foreign investment in China, focusing on recent regulatory changes and new opportunities for investors in various industry sectors, with practical advice on how to operate safely and effectively in China.
Among other topics, the repeal of differences between foreign and Chinese companies, the reduction of sectors where foreign investment is restricted or even prohibited, as well as the firm commitment to the implementation of the rule of law as a lever for growth will be discussed.
