The third vice president and minister for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, Teresa Ribera, addressed the climate emergency and the Green Agenda yesterday during a working breakfast organized by the Network of Women Ambassadors at the residence of the Finnish ambassador in Madrid, Sari Rautio.
“Today, Ambassador Sari Rautio had the pleasure of hosting the working breakfast of the Network of Women Ambassadors of Madrid, in which the third vice president and minister for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge of Spain, Teresa Ribera, participated,” reported the Embassy of Finland through its official account on the social network X.
During the meeting, she continued, “the urgency of rapid action and search for joint solutions in alliances was shared.” “The relevance of real knowledge and understanding by governments and citizens about the effects of climate change in all parts of the world has also been highlighted,” it added.
“A total change in mentality and attitude in decision-making is necessary,” because “nothing is more expensive than inaction in the implementation of the Green Agenda,” warned Sari Rautio. “We want to thank Minister Ribera and the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge for their valuable insights,” it concluded.
