The Excelentia Choral Society of Madrid and the Royal Film Concert Orchestra present the concert Great Film Choirs: Williams, Zimmer and Morricone on Sunday 7 April at 19.30 in the Sala Dinfónica of the Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid.
John Williams, Ennio Morricone and Hans Zimmer are the protagonists of this concert organised by the Fundación Excelentia with the best music created for choir and symphony orchestra by these three composers throughout their careers.
A choir of 90 voices will perform, together with the orchestra, conducted by maestro Fernando Furones, the most famous melodies of the three film geniuses and other composers. A total of more than 150 musicians on stage. Titans, The Dark Knight: The Dark Knight Rises, Jurassic Park, Star Wars: Battle of the Heroes, Pearl Harbor: Tennesee Theme, Novecento, The Lion King: The Lion Sleeps Tonight, Inception: Mombasa, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, 1492: The Conquest of Paradise, Cinema Paradiso, The Mission Suite, The Lord of the Rings, Avatar, Gladiator: The Battle or Star Wars: Duel of the Fates will be the pieces that can be enjoyed at the concert.
