The Diplomat
The winners of the Hungarian television programme, Virtuosos, were the protagonists of the concert offered by the Hungarian Embassy last Wednesday at the Nicolás Salmerón Cultural Centre in Madrid.
Vilmos Oláh on guitar, Olivér Kusztos on clarinet, Eduard Kollert on violin and Zsuzsanna Csabay on flute delighted the audience with their virtuosity discovered in the aforementioned classical music talent contest. This international talent show is broadcast on Friday evenings with world stars and child prodigies from five countries, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovenia.
As the world’s first international classical music talent show, viewers can watch musical duels to see who will represent each country in the final. During the show, two young classical musicians from each participating country showcase their talent on stage.
The four musicians performed pieces of renowned and difficult music composed by masters such as Béla Bartók, Isaac Albéniz, Antonio Vivaldi, Kreisler, Astor Piazzola, N. Paganini, Kovács Béla and Brahms.
