Until next Sunday 24th March, the Sala Mirador in Madrid (Doctor Fourquet, 31) presents Miguel Hernández. El sueño de un poeta, directed by Jesús Cracio, dramaturgy by Amparo Climent and starring herself along with Gloria Vega (composer of the music) and Maru Mararía at the piano.
Miguel Hernández: El sueño de un poeta is a tribute to the life and work of the poet from Orihuela (1910-1942) through an immersive theatrical experience that explores the poetry and legacy of this iconic Spanish poet.
The work also aims to bring poetry to a wide and diverse audience through a narrative that combines poetic elements, music, light and interpretation with performance art. A moving experience that makes the audience feel and reflect on the themes present in the poetry of Miguel Hernández.
In different tones and atmospheres, the show will cover a variety of themes such as: love, war, prison, death, injustice and hope, in the infinite world of Miguel Hernandez. This will allow the show to have an emotional balance contextualised in this journey through the history of Spain, between songs and poetry. Tickets can be purchased at this link.
