The new Kenyan Ambassador to Spain, Nairimas Sharon Ole-Sein, has presented her Copies of Letters of Credence , and has begun her activity in our country.

Nairimas Sharon Ole Sein, who replaces Michael Adipo Okoth Oyugi, who held the post for less than a year and a half, handed over the Copies to the Ambassadors’ Introducer, María Sebastián de Erice, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The new ambassador, whose appointment was approved last November by Kenyan President William Ruto, has a long career as a diplomat, beginning in 1997. At the time of her appointment she was Head of Chancery at the Kenyan Embassy in Stockholm, and before that she was also posted to the embassies in Washington and Tokyo.

She also worked in the Europe and Commonwealth Directorate and was Personal Adviser to the Foreign Office Secretary and Protocol Officer.
