As part of the In Scena a Palazzo concerts, the Instituto Italiano de Cultura presents this evening at 8 p.m. a concert in collaboration with the Bianca d’Aponte Prize, a competition for emerging Italian singer-songwriters, which returns to the Institute with new proposals.
Some very special guests will perform: Cristina Cafiero (in the photo) (winner of the “Best Interpretation Award” of the XIX Edition), Valeria Crescenzi (winner of the VIII Edition) and Irene Buselli (“Critics’ Prize” of the XIX Edition).
And the Institute announces two extraordinary guests: Cristina Donà, godmother of the VII Edition of the Prize, who will perform some of her hits, and Ferruccio Spinetti, double bass player and artistic director of the Prize, who will intervene in some moments of the evening.
The Bianca d’Aponte Prize is a competition for emerging Italian female singer-songwriters, now in its 20th edition, promoted by the Associazione Musicale ONLUS Bianca d’Aponte. The competition, open to any musical genre and to songs in both Italian and Italian dialects, was created to provide a stage for Italian female singer-songwriters, to create moments in which record labels and artists can meet. Ten songs have been selected as finalists, and the winner will receive a grant.
