On the 175th anniversary of the death of the Polish piano genius Frédéric Chopin, the Club Monteverdi (Calle Almagro, 36) is offering a tribute concert on Friday 16 February at 7.30 pm, with nocturnes, polonaises, ballads… performed by the virtuoso pianist Andrey Yaroshinski.
The audience will be able to enjoy such fundamental pieces in a concert dedicated to Chopin as the Grande Polonaise Brilliante in A major op.40#1, the Polonaise in C minor op.40#2, the Nocturne in F major op.15, the Grande Valse Brilliante in A flat major op.34#1, the Grande Valse Brillante in A minor op.34#2, the Valse in F major op.34#3, the Nocturne in C minor op.48#1, the Ballade #4 in F minor op.52 and the Grande Polonaise Brillante in A flat major op.53.
