Tomorrow Wednesday at 7pm, Casa Asia (Palacio de Cañete- Calle Mayor, 69) is organising a recital by the Seoul-born pianist HyeRyun Jung (pictured). This event offers a unique experience, immersing the spectator in the cultural richness of Korea through three thematic blocks.
The musical journey begins with a first block that fuses the elegance of classical and traditional Korean music, taking the listener through timeless melodies. The second part then immerses the listener in the nostalgic atmosphere of South Korean pop music from the 80s and 90s, masterfully interpreted by the pianist. As a finale, HyeRyun Jung will surprise with her own compositions, closing the evening with her creativity.
Music, being a transcendental form of artistic expression since time immemorial, has become a fundamental vehicle for a deep understanding of a country’s culture. Although K-pop has conquered the world, this recital offers Spanish audiences the opportunity to explore the various facets of Korean music.
