Slovakia’s Ambassador to Spain, Juraj Tomaga, presented copies of his Letter of Credentials to Morocco’s Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita on Friday.

“It is a great honour for me to present a copy of my Credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Slovak Republic to His Majesty King Mohammed VI,” he said on his Facebook account.

Juraj Tomaga represents the Slovak Republic, based in Madrid, to Spain, Andorra, UN Tourism (formerly UNWTO) and now Morocco.

Tomaga started working at the Slovak Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2003, as spokesperson for the then Minister Milan Kukan. He was posted in Madrid between 2006 and 2010 and in Havana from 2011 to 2015, where he would return after a brief return to Bratislava (2015-2016) to head the Ministry’s Press Department. On 3 October 2022 he was appointed Ambassador to Spain.
