The Year of the Dragon is beginning and, for the ninth consecutive year, the City Council of Madrid, with the collaboration of Casa Asia, celebrates it with a full programme of cultural activities that will take place until the 29th of February (mainly in Usera) and whose highlights are the Chinese New Year Festival, next Saturday 10th of February from 6pm to 8.15pm, with music in the pavilion of Pradolongo Park and with a final fireworks display and the Great Parade of the Chinese New Year (Sunday 11th of February, from 12pm to 3pm).

You can also enjoy exhibitions, storytelling, workshops, tastings, a Spring Market, shows, the Chinese Temple Fair, the Spring Race and Run Cobo, the Chinese New Year race.

Casa Asia has designed the storytelling Dragons and dragons, in the José Hierro Library (Calle Rafaela Ybarra, 43), which will have two sessions (12h and 16h) and will be led by Gabriela Waisberg, aimed at families from 3 to 12 years of age. The full programme of activities can be consulted at this link.
