The Minister of Foreign Affairs, José Manuel Albares, held yesterday in Brussels his first meeting with his new French counterpart, Stéphane Séjourné, with whom he discussed the preparation of the next bilateral summit.

“Very good first meeting with my new French counterpart, Stéphane Séjourné,” declared Albares through his official account on the social network past,” he continued. · We will work together for European unity,” he added.

During the press conference after the EU Foreign Affairs Council, Albares specified that during the meeting they began to talk “about the preparation of the next bilateral summit, which will follow the Barcelona summit, where the Treaty of Friendship was adopted.”
