The Minister of Science, Innovation and Universities, Diana Morant, received yesterday in Madrid the Minister of Education of Chile, Nicolás Cataldo, with whom she signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation in university higher education.
During the meeting, according to the Ministry, the renewal of the agreement that was reached in 2017 for the mutual recognition of professional titles and academic degrees of university higher education was also addressed. This agreement and the new Spanish regulation will make it possible to streamline homologations and title equivalences.
In addition, progress was made in an agreement to facilitate that any student who can access a Chilean university can also access a Spanish university without taking any exam in Spain, and vice versa.
