Once the speeches are over, the Kings offer a glass of wine to the ambassadors.
Only ambassadors who have already presented Letters of Credence to the Monarch can attend the reception, although all countries and international organizations accredited in Madrid are represented, normally by ‘number two’, if the ambassador is not present.
